HONcode section for patients and individuals The HONcode is the code of conduct of the Health On the Net Foundation and is applied for voluntary health/medical websites. It was initiated in 1995 and has since grown to become the most widely used and best trusted ethical code for health/medical websites. In addition, there is information about how it is applied and how complaints are submitted.
